S scott caps Oct 23, 2003 #1 as soon as i click my IE shortcut and it begin to load it shuts down again. can anyone help

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with these tools.
