Web browser add-ons: what you need to know

I have downloaded the new XP service pack 2 patch. This enabled me to manage
add-ons.

After installation the Adobe Acrobat Control for Active X was disabled and
few more for that matter. I cannot change the status to be enabled as the
area is grey shaded and say that the add-on is managed by the administrator.
I'm the administrator user on the computer.

I also have the same problem for a couple of add-ons which want to disable.
Not possible for the same reason
