It would be a good idea to build in a weather forecast into the new computer.
It would also be a good idea if you didnt just focus it on America but maps
of every country in the world, so its easier to view your local forecast.

Completely pointless when there are umpteen dozen Websites that you can
link to for such information.

The Windows Vista Feature Set is Now Locked (Read the Previous Post by
Travis King), so your Suggestion to Microsoft is likely to go Absolutely
Nowhere, Just FYI!

Perhaps a "Gadget" for the Sidebar for people who like this sort of thing,
(Google, Yahoo and Opera already offer such a widget if you want one), but
certainly not embedded in the O/S.

Weather forecast or simply something about current weather?
Forecast would probably not be practical.
Previously there was a weather gadget for current weather and cities
throughout the world could be selected.
I had 2 weather gadgets 1 for each of two cities I followed.
Rumour has it the weather gadget may return.

Now that I think of it, I don't think I want the weather gadget because like
the Weatherbug for example, has spyware in it. (Funny how AOL pushes the
Weatherbug, but let's not start a fight.)

I remember in the mid 90s they tried something similar, called push
technology that never caught on. It had channels that users can subscribe
to. I believe it has evelved since into things like Windows update, feed
viewer, stock ticks etc.

The latest version (2.0.5 build 31) works fine in Vista 5384 and later.
