Does anyone know of a Freeware weather program that only displays the
tempeture in the system tray. I don't need all the bells and whistles.

Weather Buddy 1.0.3 for .Net

It should be pointed out that as the name suggests, it requires
Microsoft's .Net Framework, if you don't already have it installed.

I recommend Weather Watcher, from http://www.singerscreations.com/ .
The entire installation takes up a little over one megabyte, and
doesn't require any registration or the .Net Framework. Weather
Pulse, from http://tropicdesigns.net/weatherpulse.php , is also a good
application, although it has a few more of the bells and whistles than
you might like.

I recommend Weather Watcher too. Lots of info if you need it, but very
simple if you don't.

Yup, I never compute without it. It's one of my basic programs whenever I
load a system. At one time the updates were annoyingly frequent, I think
because of the way the program extracted weather data from the web. They
seem to have hit on a method that doesn't require a program change every
time the web page format changes.
