We receive atachments in excel5.0 from different places but some can not be opened

Those attachments can only be seen using quick view but they can not b
edited or printed.
Our computer is a HP pavilion 6535, windows 98,ms office 2000,excel 5.
 
Are you trying to open them with Excel 2000 or Excel 5?

Thanks Lady Laila...There is something extrange for me because we save
..lets say four atachments all of them in Excel 5.0 but two can not b
opened. We determine that the file is Excel 5.0 by a right click on th
mouse and then selecting "properties
