When I go into my error log in windows xp it says that
the servie failed to start due to the following error:

The service cannot be started either because it is
disabled or because it has no enabled devices asociated
with it.

What hardware or software do I go into to fix this program

You should install the capture drivers from the manufacturer's website.....
exactly where that would be would depend on what capture hardware you have
installed on your PC.
