Even if they are, what the hell difference would a SATA 2 interface
make when it wouldn't even max out a SATA 1 interface.
It doesn't max out a SATA 1 interface because it has a SATA 1
physical interface, isn't it now. How difficult can that be.
And there is more to SATA II than just the interface speed.
If SATA 300 it would 'only' be twice as fast in the read transfers
that come from it's cache and the write transfers that go to it's buffer.
The problem these days is more with finding an application that will
actually benefit from that 'mere' 100% increase.
