Just wondering why it aint SATA 2:300 ???

Benchraks says its GOOOOD. Will be put into my new system. Just in
time WD.

Would be nice if it did :)

Will be great for video Editing and loading up things nice and fast.
Windows Xploaded in 5 seconds that would be nice :)
 
So your saying the RMP aint 10,000 Rpm i suppose and th eBurst speed
is not 100 mbs plus and sustain speed is not 60 mbs plus ?

Even if they are, what the hell difference would a SATA 2 interface
make when it wouldn't even max out a SATA 1 interface. Christ some
people are dumb.

It doesn't max out a SATA 1 interface because it has a SATA 1
physical interface, isn't it now. How difficult can that be.
And there is more to SATA II than just the interface speed.

If SATA 300 it would 'only' be twice as fast in the read transfers
that come from it's cache and the write transfers that go to it's buffer.
The problem these days is more with finding an application that will
actually benefit from that 'mere' 100% increase.
