WD is SLOW and does not update Alloed Items

I start a scan at 0200 automatically and it really bogs the system down and I
have to stop it at 0530 so I can use the laptop. I allowed a scan to complete
and it took til 0946 according to my Event Viewer. It finds a change in
McAfee task scheduler, I allow change, it says it succeeded but there is
nothing in Allowed Items and next run is same issue with the task scheduler.
I find the slowness VERY disappointing as MS Anti Spyware beta 1 was great.
Also I found that when WD runs it disables my McAfee VirusScan. This also is
not good. I am running XP Pro (with all latest updates) in a Athlon 64 3200+
with 512mb RAM. Hard Drive is healthy and has about 15gb of space being used.
Please advise as to when this might be fixed.
 
Yes I have the Same Problem and it takes me over an 1hr to scan when the
computer is healthy. It spends 1Hr and it cannot find anything!!!
