WD for Limited User

I just installed WD yesterday. The scheduled scan ran today successfully.
Tonite everything ground to a halt. MSASCui.exe for a limited user was using
98% of my CPU. When I set up WD I unchecked the box "Allow Users to Use WD",
so why would that process be using all my CPU? I let it go for a couple of
hours, ran a quick scan(which took over an hour), from the limited users
account (which I didn't want to allow), and it still kept using all my CPU.
I finally just logged of that limited user so I could submit this question.
What's going on? Anybody got any insight? TIA

Any time an application (including explorer.exe and iexplore.exe) hogs all of
the bandwidth, you have to consider the possibility that your system has been
compromised. I would run a series of scans using web-based threat scans to
isolate the problem and use the appropriate malware removal tool to
surgically remove the invader.

Try killing the process (in this case Defender's User Interface) from Task
Manager. If the activity dies down, malware may be your problem. If the
process reinstates itself and CPU activity returns to 90-100%, you have some
SERIOUS work ahead of you.
 
Thanks Scott. I ran TrendMicro House Call, HiJack This, Ad-Aware, Spybot
Search and Destroy, and McAfee FreeScan. Nothing found. I'd like to go back
to my real question. When I unchecked the box which would (if checked) allow
limited users to use WD, I assumed that user would not be able to run a WD
scan. I am able to, in fact the executable in that users account is eating
up all my CPU. Did I misunderstand the purpose of that check box on set-up?
And why is a limited users MSASCui.exe hogging the CPU when he's not even
supposed to be able to run scans? TIA
