WD BETA2 installation

I have done "everything" -
I have two systems: Windows XP installation OK after downloading SP2.
Now Windows 2000 is diffrent issue: I have flollowed all
instructions.Downloaded GDI+ and other patches.
During installation of WD I observed on status bar:COPY completed;
INSTALATION completed; STARTING - my status bar go to about 85%of instalation
and stops and i get message " Service Windows Defender Service (WINDEFEND)
Failed to start. Verify that You Have sufficient Privilages to start system
services"
HELP PLEASE!!!!
 
I don't have a fix for this issue (at least, as far as I can remember!)

Can you both restart the system, and double check via an express scan at
WindowsUpdate that there are no more updates left to apply?

Your suggestion worked . I dii express updates and my WD installed w/o
further problems
