houston we hav a problem

Cheers for the stats muckshifter. you do a great job

Was on for the magic 1k but did 735, at 1010pm last night the heat inside my case started climbing higher than after burner on the shuttle, seems one of the fans on the side of the case decided to shut down (mission control ie: me)decided to shut down the pc. Seems a loose power connection was the problem, a couple of cable ties sorted it out, now back to normal, but will monitor it just in case, phew

Nope ... maybe ChrisPy can shed some light on Mr Imrie ... but Rusty has Internet connection problems last I heard, and I know what that's like.

I'm afraid I'm not one for going around asking why you ain't crunching ... we have four & maybe five who have given up, and only one of them has shown that he is still crunching, but for another team ... don't mind that at all, at least jaxx is still crunching for the cause.

It is what happens I'm afraid.

I dont think he could be bothered (after all Imrie is THE most laziest person i know) or his parents got at him for the electric bill... something like that.

Parents yelled at me about our electric bill...

For some reason (i know not why) since we started crunching our electric + gas bill has gone from the usual £90 a month/quarter... whatever it is to £500 +

Surely computers under 100% constant load dont use THAT much... lol

No they do not ... people forget this time of year ... longer nights, cold, all adds to the bill. Moms & Dads will blame it on anything, but will they stop & think and turn the central heating down one or two notches an put a jumper on ... nope!

I pay my electric with a card ... and yes my bill has gone up ... I'm bloody cold, -10 yesterday a nice mild 2c today, but it ain't nothing to do with 3PCs being on 24/7.


A PC running on gas ... yeah, right.
