What type of job tends to return the most hits? Cancer or Aids?

Not exactly sure, but I would imagine that its purely done on WU size and PC performance regardless of which type.

From wha i've noticed on my pc the HPF jobs tend to take a bit longer to complete, Thus a few more points. But i dont think there's a lot in it...

Yep, I go along with that - I think regardless of job type the longer it takes the more points you get, but its all relative.

eg. 5 hours = 150 points, 10 hours = 300 points etc - at the end of the day it equates to the same.....

I think one of the biggest influences is how your system compares to the reference device - the higher the score the more points.

One of the easiest ways of increasing your system score is adding more RAM - I added a 512MB stick to a PC and it boosted my overall score by around 25 points;)

You can also up the storage to 10GB on the website in 'Device Profiles' to maximize your scoring! :thumb:
Other that that and what Ady said i dont think you can do much else.....

He's on a real charge at the mo! He's up to 27,291 points already!

At that rate he's gonna be past me soon!! And be on the look out for Chris!

:D

Well sorry guys, that's me utterly buggered now.

Lost my PC earlier due to a explosion... can't be bothered to fix it as the PSU smells of smoke and i'm not sure if anything has survived, so now i'm down to the laptop remaining.

The only machine which has served me well, but it doesn't run WCG too well, so i'll give it my best shot...

:(
