Way to run a program as a service in WinXP?

Hey there,

Is there a freeware program that will run a program as a service in WinXP
Pro, so that it will already be started up before the user actually logs in?

There are a couple programs from the Windows Resource Kit that will help,
and this page will tell you how. Just replace mention of their program with
the one you are using:
