Way to identify picture names or sizes in Word 2007

Alan

I have a very large Word 2007 file, created by merging many
documents together, with about 130 pictures in it. A handful of the
pictures were pasted into the original documents in poorly selected
formats, resulting in very large sizes. I know the image names by
viewing the /word/media directory using an unzipping program.
However, I do not know how these correspond to the images in the Word
file.

Is there any easy way to do one of the following:

(a) Convert all the graphics in the Word file to a reasonably-sized
format?

(b) Identify which graphics in the Word documents are the large
ones?

Thanks, Alan

Thanks. I`ll give that a try.

For some reason, the offendingly-large pictures are EMF format,
which was surprising.
