We have recently begun using Word 2002 and we#re having a
few problems with the new way of dealing with comments. In
the previous version of Word we were using comments were
shown clearly in the text by bright yellow highlighting of
the text that had been commented on. The yellow
highlighting has been replaced by some very feint red
brackets that can barely be seen. On numerous occasions i
have sent documents back to authors with queries marked as
comments and they have ignored them because they cannot
see them. Is there any way to change the way comments are
indicated back to the yellow highlighting or at least
change them to something more visible than the feint red
brackets? Ideally, it needs to be something that does not
involve the person at the other end changing their
settings. I deal with dozens of documents a day and don't
have time to explain to each one of the authors how to
change their settings.
