Not all of the wavs save in my PowerPoint slide show. They can be heard in
Preview and Slideshow/Current slide, but when I return later, they are gone.

Is there a solution to this nasty problem?

Which version of PowerPoint? How are you inserting your WAV files?

Have you changed the 100 Ko limit to 50000 Ko so the waves will be embeded?

Hello Michael - I use 2007 and I'm new to it.

My typical insertion method is through clipart/wav. Then I go to
Animation/Preview to listen and then on to the save icon.

Many of the wavs save using this method but some don't no matter how many
times I reenter the wav and follow this procedure.

Thanks for the help - Jan!

By default WAV files are embedded. But if the size of the file exceeds the
amount you have set by clicking on the Windows button, PowerPoint Options,
Advanced, and upped the filesize to the max 50000kb in the link sounds your
files will be linked.

To insert a sound file: On the Insert Tab, click on Sound and select Sound
from file. Navigate to wherever you store your sounds and select the sound
file you want to use.
