Sounds like you may have an issue with your
video driver. It may be worth a try to reduce your
Graphics Hardware Acceleration.

If you reduce your Graphics Hardware Acceleration
as per the instructions in the following article and
realize an improvement, it's an indication that you
need to update your video driver:

(263391) How to Change the Graphics
Hardware Acceleration Setting in Windows
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=263391

FWIW...reducing the graphics hardware
acceleration may not the actual *fix*...it
is merely a way of testing to see if your
Video Driver needs to be reinstalled or
updated.

I would suggest that you go to the support
website of your video adapter's mfg. and
search for drivers.

If you don't know the make and model of
your video adapter...check the documentation
that came with the computer.

Also you could try these steps...
Go to...Start / Run...type...
msinfo32 ...press enter.

On the System Information screen...choose...
Components / Display...

You should find the make and model of your
display adapter as well as the driver version.

If the driver on the support website is more
current than the one you are running...
download it and install it. Also, installation
instructions which should be closely followed
should be available at the support site.

Once the new video driver is installed...you
can reset your Acceleration to Full.

Thanks John,

I"ve been trying out differtinet things. i'll definetly check that out. What
i did Notice is that when I save the video to a higher quality it isn't as
bad. I'm still working on it and will not give up until i find a cure. I just
love movie maker and can put out a pretty good show for an amature. Anyhow, I
have some still pics of certain scenes (jpeg) that demonstrates exactly what
i'm talking about. Once Again, thanks John, i think i need all the help I can
get on this.

Take Care

If saving to a higher resolution clears up
the issue...the only problem may be the
quality of the files. Low resolution files look
especially bad when viewing full screen.

Hi John,

I just installed an updated version of my driver which I don't think is a
bad thing. I was pretty nervous about it because i was worried that something
might crash.
All fingers crossed and everyting went smoothly. It'll probably take a week
or so befor I have time to see if the probleme persists. I really appreciate
the help. Maybe if you have time I'd like to ask you a question about pip
quality issues (smaller video) Once Again thanks John.

It's always a good idea to keep your
drivers up to date.

You're welcome and if you have more
questions, please post them and hopefully
someone in this newsgroup can provide
an answer.
