I have ripped cassette files to WMA using CDEX but WMP11 doesn't recognize
the results in the music library. Is there a way to correct this or is there
a more recommended "ripper" that WMP11 will recognize.

Will it play the files, or are they just not appearing in the library?

How are you adding them to the library? Folder-monitoring, playback (with
auto-add to library) or drag and drop from explorer to Library?

Hello Mike,

They do play but don't show up in the library. I have to go to file, open,
and manually locate the files e.g. file, open,
d:\music\gospel\artist\album...select all tracks, and then open.

OK well there are plenty of reports of v11 not adding files to the library
as a general problem, but it should first be established that
a) that folder is monitored and/or
b) you have the "add-to-library-when-played" option on.

If you can satisfy yourself that you're covered on these, then it may very
well be that you're one of the many with library corruption. See

Thanks Mike.

I will play with this a bit and get back to you if you would like on what I
find.

For me the file plays but its just clicks.
