wav on top of wav/'ani' clip

Hi, In WMM, How do you make it so that 2 wav files are combined; so that one
music wav file is playing in the backgound, while the other voice spoken wav
file is playing at the same time. Can seem to make it work.
ALso, I added an 'animated' pic but it only moves a split second then the
next picture starts. If I click to view any animated clip in "my
pictures">Win fax viewer, it moves around endlessly without end til I exit.
What I want is for the animated clip to move for a few seconds of my
choosing. Is this possible?

Add the first file....save the project in a
movie format...wmv or .avi.

Re-import the movie file...add the next
sound clip to the Audio/Music track.

Change the Duration of the .animated gif
by dragging the handle. There will be a
tooltip that shows the duration changing
as you drag.
