wav files

got a ? for you all how can putting a scanning device on
the system then removing the files from the add and remove
in control panel take away all my wav files and now I have
no sound what so ever. My wife bought a piece of s#@t
scanner it really didn't work so I uninstalled it and now I
have no sounds coming from any where.I searched for wav
files I don't have any of those either.and where would I go
to download al the wav files for my computer?

It shouldn't. Something else was obviously done. Think back to other things
you installed, or perhaps you erased them without thinking.

If you're looking for XP wav files, copy them off the XP CD to
c:\windows\media
