.wav files

For some reason I cannot access .wav files anymore. I get to the media
screen and then an error message says something to the effect that it is not
the right "codec". Does anyone know what has happened?

Access from where? E-mail? Saved wav files? What version of WMP are you
running?

Download this to your HDD. Close all programs and then install it. Follow
with a reboot.
