Hi

I'm using Office XP, and I was wondering how to insert a
WordArt as a watermark. In Word 97, you used to be able
to insert a WordArt straight to the main document when you
are in the "Header and Footer" view. Now, when I insert a
WordArt, it goes to where the cursor is (ie either the
header or the footer) not the main document.

I hope someone can help

Thanks

Paolo

In Word 2002, WordArt is inserted In Line with Text. You have to change the
wrapping in order to drag it to the middle of the page. But Word 2002 also
offers a much easier way to create a text watermark. Go to Format |
Background | Printed Watermark and choose "Text watermark." You can type in
whatever you want the watermark to say and select the font, color, size,
layout, etc.

I guess thats just way it works. No possible way for it to it outside.
Unless, you format the WordArt, and choose Text Wrapping, choose "behind
text". Then you will be able to move it around the document.
