Watermark Problem

Three machines at the office all have MS Office 2002 installed.

The problem is with inserting a watermark. It works just fine on one of the
PCs but fails on the other two using the same exact .doc file, not copies.

The document contains a table with field codes for the user to enter either
text or select from drop down menus. For normal operation the document is
protected.

The document is a feature sheet for home sales. When the home is sold I add
the a "SOLD" watermark diagonally across the page. To do this I have to
unprotect the document.

After the watermark has been inserted everything looks just fine, including
in the Print Preview mode until I try to print the document. As soon as I
press the printer icon all the variable data is reset to the default
condition!

I have tried it both with re-protecting the doc before printing and leaving
it un-protected, makes not difference.

Any suggestions on what to look for?

Another question about watermarks, is there any way to change the default
watermark text selections? I would like to add SOLD to the list.

Thanks for reading.....

Can it be that "Print data only for forms" is turned on? Look under Tools |
Options | Print.
