When I watch my dvds the movie skips or freezes for like a couple of seconds then resumes. My dvds are new and I don't know why they would be skipping.

What is the speed of your CPU and what video card are you
running, if the DVD runs faster than the video and CPU can
decode and display, the display will freeze or drop frames.

Hi Scorpio,

This is just a hunch. Try doing a system clean-up and also look for spyware.

LIKE wow, just started two days ago!
Could be a dirt build up causing heat on the video card,
could be a virus or Trojan (or spyware), could be many
things.
