I have 2005 MCE.

I can connect remotely from another computer, but media center moves frame
by frame.

What can I do to make it move as seamlessly as when using media center on
the home local computer?

I though i might have had to increase the mtu's, which i did from 2500 to
10000, but that didn't make any noticeable change.

Thanks

I don't believe you will be able to do it in the way you are trying. Remote
Desktop was not made to play streaming media. Sorry I cannot tell you how
to accomplish what you are trying to do - hopefully someone else will.. But
remote desktop is the same throughout the different versions of Windows XP.

you cant do that as Stanley said too.

You can however download windows media encoder and use that to encode the
live video from yout tv card and broadcast it over the LAN (in real time of
course). I have done that many times...
