Don’t get me wrong on this matter I am Welsh and proud of being so!

The welsh assembly [MOTO] how to squander the taxpayers money Answer EASY?

Formed in 1999.

First thing to be done for all members voted unanimously [no surprise on that issue] A massive pay rises of 30% considering the inflation rate at the time a mere 1.9% [welcome to the higher tax bracket boys?]

A new building [refurbished] for the assembly cost 31 million pound Oh this one isn’t good enough; we shall build a new one so put the plan in motion, ok that’s agreed then we will waste 63 Million pound this time though? Wednesday, 01 March 2006 opening ceremony.

First discussion? Now I wonder what they will decide to waste money on first?

As we the Welsh have seen very little [if any] improvements.
Though some will contradict me on this
In fact I have seen nothing advantageous to the public since the assembly was formed.

'Tis true. Rumour has it they thought they wouldn't be able to cope with the tailback of people trying to escape from Newport if they put a toll-booth in the way.

It makes a lot of sense if you think about it ......
