My wife used to be able to connect to common files on my PC...both are XP
Pro. The shared directory is no longer accessible from her machine, though
she can connect to any shared directory I create on D drive. You can see the
shared directory, but when attemping to connect to a directory share on C,
she gets the error "not enough server storage is available to process the
command".

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

I notice when I look in Network Places, that the shared folders on C drive
show "unknown" under the computer name column, while the computer name is
displayed correctly for those shares on D. I have tried renaming the
Computer, disabling and reenabling file/printer sharing, redoing the shares,
etc. I am out of ideas and looking for suggestions.

Thanks,
Mike

outed all removed file and printer sharing service, deleted all shares,
rebooted, added service and shares...now working
