WAS will not start at Windows startup

I cannot get AntiSpyware to start at Windows Startup. I am
using build 615 on a Dell Dimension 8400. My OS is Windows
XP SP2 with all updates. Checking the open at startup does
not work.

Shutdown Microsoft AntiSpyware from the notification area, uninstall it,
restart the machine then reinstall to a non-default location such as
c:\msas.

the uninstall, removed the Microsoft AntiSpyware folder
from C:\Program Files\Microsoft AntiSpyware and restarted
the machine. I then installed the program to C:\Program
Files\MSAS and did the setup and ran a scan. I then
restarted the machine, but the NAS did not load.
