Hi,

The audio is not playing in the newly built xp image. During the import
of the devices.pmq the warning about audio driver was there and I
copied the xp professional drivers into repository. But still those
errors are there. Is there any other way to find out which driver files
are missing?. The hardware is of real tek.

Thanks

AK,

In general it would help you if you include in your post the information about warnings and errors you saw.
Otherwise it is hard to advide on what you may be missing there.
Also, always check out FBALog.txt and SetupApi.log files first if you are having a problem with some driver.

Please make sure to copy the audio driver INF file to \windows\inf dir of XP Pro machine or under XPe Repository when you use CD to
import the file. Then INF importer will find all the INF files that are required for the driver.

Or just follow thsi tip: http://msdn.microsoft.com/embedded/community/community/tips/xp/compo/default.aspx

That driver is pretty easy to componentize and should not give you much troubles.
(I've got RealTek AC'97 Audio component if you need it).
