If you have a problem with your Product Key, and have difficulties in
activating Vista, use the Telephone method and wait to speak to an advisor.
Do NOT, under ANY circumstances, enlist the help of someone in these
newsgroups who claims to have "a new genuine and valid Windows vista Product
key which is here only for you (one person use only) <KEY DELETED>". A
product key is valid for use on ONE computer only. A quick search in Google
also reveals that this same key is also associated with Windows XP. This
person goes by the name of johnnn or johnsonnn, and I have counted THREE
posts in the newsgroups where the SAME key has been published in replies to
user's problems (search and see for yourself). He also claims "i can give you
best possible solution of your Windows troubleshootings / operating system
problems, Dear, my E-Mail address is <ADDRESS DELETED>, you can feel free to
e-mail me any time". This is out of 17 postings, all of which are along the
same or similar lines.

If anyone is stupid enough to use a key they get off the internet they they
deserve what they get. Now, where is that warning label on my Iron telling
me that it's hot when it's on?

Whilst you are doing a good thing, I think that people using such things
should burn their own fingers.
Warning label on box : This is a firearm. It can be lethal to humans.
I have seen kids prosecuted for using pirate software. Guilty. R20000 fine
(about 2800USD). No PC until 21 years.
Cheers

On days like this I just get down on my knees and thank god there are people
like who are here to defend us from the bad guys. Guys like you and W, he's
here to protect us from the terrorists - they're coming to get us doncha
know?
Your job apparently is to protect us from ourselves, and the jihadist
product activation extremists.

Thanks for this. Really. What would we do without you?
I know I'll certainly sleep better tonight knowing you're on the job.
