warning "open file error"

when i try to run "ABIT EQ" (motherobard monitor prgram)
it appears " warning: open file error ". The ABIT EQ
worked before. Just all in suddent it won't work. Please
help
 
Have you changed anything lately, have you checked the abit site for updates
to the utility, have you tried removing and reinstalling the utility? Try
using System Restore to take you back to a time prior to when this began.
Start\All Programs\Accessories\System Tools\System Restore.

When I had version 19 and 20 of the Abit system BIOS, the AbitEQ utility
worked. When I just flashed it to version 23, the utility popped up the
same error as you. Uninstalling and reinstalling the utility did not
fix it.

Did you flash your BIOS recently?

By the way, you can also download their winbond Hardware Monitor and use
that (http://www.abit-usa.com/downloads/utility/). Not as nice and
won't minimize but does let you check your temps when you run games,
overclock, change fans, etc.
