If your running the 2.41 driver set like I was, you may like to remove the
IDE SW driver and change back to the older nforce2 IDE drivers before
uninstalling the 2.41 set. I spent most of this morning getting the
nvatabus.sys driver reinstalled on my machine as XP will not boot without
it, and no the recover from last working configuration will not help in this
instance.

I thought the .45 installed directly on top? ..
I know that the .41 drivers had "Specific" instructions by NV on removal but
those are now gone, my assumption was that the .45 install would just
overwrite .41

I tend to remove the existing drivers for any hardware when installing
new ones, mainly because of ending up with mixtures of detonator drivers.

I had no troubles with the Asus 1.16 drivers I was running, just thought
I'd try these, everything still seems to run as good as before if not
better. ;p

btw mobo is a non-dlx

What performance benefits have you seen with this upgrade?

FWIW...no IDE SW drivers included with 2.45......and yes..you just
install over the top
