WANTED: Webcam software that pops up a window...

I have a webcam connected to my machine. I want to know when something
crosses the path of the camera (when the image changes) - preferably by
having a window ppopup - either a message or an image from the camera
itself. Anyone know of any freeware that does this?

Yes, there is.

Try either Pryme ( my link for it is old..try googling )

or Webcam Publisher

Pryme can sometimed be a tad unstable, I've found...and Webcam
Publisher seems to fall on its arse with ease...but a lot might be
dependent on the kit that's being run.
