Preferably with an onboard RAID controller that works with SATA disks.
I recently slung a socket A machine together but the motherboard is playing up, sometimes it boots, sometimes it doesn't and I have to disconnect mains and reconnect before it does. Plus Win 98 and XP installs both freeeze, both to a RAID 0 setup and a single disk.
I've proved all other components good so I figure it's probably worth getting another Socket A motherboard as long as it doesn't break the bank
