Hi all,

I have about 14-17 icons in my systray. I know that that they can be
hidden (XP) but I wonder if there is a program which transforms the
"notification area" in a "drop-up" menu.
Any suggestions? Thanks, Fred

The closest I have ever seen is ObjectDock.

www.stardock.com

It's a very yummy little app, and very flexible. There is a free and a
commercial version.

Thanks, I use H-Menu http://www.h-menu.com/homeEN.htm very nice for
shortcuts like ObjectDock which indeed can include the tray area.
However, the tabs remain visible and H-Menu is hidden and shows when
the mouse cursor touches the side.

ObjectDock can even show tray apps, and you can have it totally hidden...
just don't use the tabs, and use a Tray tool. It's so flexible you can do
almost anything with it.

Then I will download the thingy and try it. My comment was based on
reading/looking at the site. Too superficial I guess.....
Thanks, Fred
