wanted pop-ups are allways locked

Hi,
On many sites, I click on links that normally open pop-up
windows, but they are systematicly blocked. the message
down left the browser is "locked 1 popup" than 2, 3 ...
on the contrary, add pop-ups work!!
what can I do to open the pop-up windows I ask for?

Uninstall whatever pop-up blocker you have now .......
