Hello group!
We're using HP L1925 LCD monitors at work. These units can pivot to
portrait mode, but we do not have the pivot software that is required,
and a web search did not give any results other than the general
monitor driver that does not include the pivot software.

Can anybody please point me to a download of this pivot software? We
need the Windows 2000 version. Thank you!

PS: Here is where my search ended:
1) HP L1925 LCD Monitor Driver:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription....
2) Driver and software download:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?la...

You really need to get the video card drivers to do this.

You really need to get the video card drivers to do this.

Thank you for the tip. But the links provided at the top are the Win2k
drivers, right? I have already installed these and they do not offer
pivot functionality. At least I have found no indication in the
display properties, and the driver installs no other app alongside.
Turning the display does not trigger anything either.
This is why I thought (think) there must be some additional trick...?

Your links are broken, the end of them appears omitted from
the post. Have you checked the monitor's front panel
settings to see if this is adjustable there?

It would be in the video card driver settings. If you are
using a stripped down default driver, download and install
the full featured video driver from the video chipset
manufacturer (installing after uninstalling the old driver).

I believe that is what I did, but nevertheless I am going to try just
that and report back. Thank you for the comments!

If all else fails contact the seller and request the CD...
since it should have came with the monitor and it appears HP
is not going to offer the full version on their website for
download... probably due to licensing issues.

Since it seems to be called Pivot Pro this looks like it,

I suppose if you just HAD to have it and could get it no
other way you could buy it but that seems unfair.

For the price of the software you could instead get an ATI
or nVidia video card, or if you have either of these GPUs
already then both of their newer drivers do support rotating
the screen. For example,
