wanted free mp3 rippers

Hi
Can anybody recommend a good simple to use mp3 ripper software. Either as a
complete programme or separately to rip tracks direct from cd to mp3 and mp3
back to cd audio, wmp to mp3 and record directly into mp3 from an inline
media sample.

My favorite is CDex http://www.cdex.n3.net/

Not positive it will do all you ask, but likely will. I've only ripped
from cd to hdd with it, works well for me.
