want transfer my address book in Outlook from 1 comp to another

I want to transfer my address book names from one computer to another
computer using inport/export. i am using WIN XP and Ooutlook 2003

Yes, Import/Export can be used for that. Where do you get stuck?

My import and export is not working. I exported the file to the cd and was
trying to import it into my new computer's Outlook address book. But it does
not see the file and will not import. Trying to make this easy so I will not
have to retype all those names. I read the article but it does not cover my
problem or am I missing it?

Then you'll need to move the pst-file to your hard disk first and remove the
Read Only file attribute. You can then open it directly in Outlook by File->
Open-> Outlook Data File...

You must have overlooked it; It's in the guide ;-)
