I have a PC in office next to my printer. The printer being used is (Brother
MFC-240C USB Printer). I have a laptop (HP Notebook) and I have something on
laptop
that I want to print, I don't want to always disconnect the plug in back of
PC and
hook to Laptop so I can print something. Tell me if this sounds right- I was
told you can do this wirelessly because I can access the Internet via my
linksys card adapter that is attached to laptop, so I don't have to
disconnect behind the PC.

Anyone that can help me, I would really appreciate it.

Thank You, Tim

How do you put these in the same wotrkgroup? I have notebook on Vista and
Desktop on Windows ME. My linksys network has three different work groups.
How do I change them to have the same workgroup. Thanks, Elliot

Right click on My Computer and select Properties. With Vista, click on
Change Settings....

Then click Change.... and put in the name of the Workgroup. Apply, OK and
Reboot.

Again on the Vista PC, right click on Network and select Properties. Tell
the Vista PC you are in a Private Network. Now you should choose the
settings you want.... if you are in control of both PCs everything in
Sharing and Discovery should be set to ON except Password Protected Sharing
which should be OFF. This will mean that if you are on the ME PC, all files
and folders on the Vista PC will be seen by the ME PC.
