I have a Lenovo N100 laptop that only has 30 Gigs left of the like 120 but I
dont know how I got down that far anyways. But my problem is when I bought
the laptop it did not come with a vista cd. So I was wondering how can I
reformat this computer? And if I do reformat it somehow will the programs it
came with be on there? or will it be just vista like I think?

thanks

Do you still have the "D" partition? That has all that you need to
take your computer back to out-of-the-box condition. If it's still
there - and not damaged - you should burn a DVD from it NOW.

Instructions should be somewhere on your system... or should be
findable on the mfr website.

If you can't find them, you should have a way during booting to enter
recovery mode by tapping one of the Function keys - probably F11.

You should have another partition holding the Recovery Files for the Vista OS.
Save ALL your Data before doing anything!
Doing Recovery, you will lose all data, and Programs you have installed.
It will go back to how you bought it.

There should be an F Key(with a number!) shown at bottom of screen at
startup, to begin Recovery process. Just follow installation steps.

But, also make Recovery disk/disks from that recovery partition.
It will have details on how to do it either in a manual that came with the
computer, their website, or contact them by phone or email.

That, sadly, is very common, nowadays.

Legally, the OEM has met it's contractual obligation to Microsoft
by providing a means of returning the PC to its ex-factory state,
whether it's a Recovery CD or a Recovery Partition. They are not
legally obliged to provide a true installation CD as part of the sale.
Reputable, customer-service aware OEMs, do provide a full OEM
installation CD, that does permit custom installations and repairs.
However, many uncaring OEMs, such as eMachines, Compaq, HP, and Sony, in
an effort to save pennies and reduce their support costs by having to
hire support people that need only say "Boot from the Recovery CD to
return your PC to its original condition," provide only a CD bearing a
disk image of the hard drive as it left the factory.

Essentially, it boils down to "You get what you pay for."

So I was wondering how can I
reformat this computer?

Simply follow the recovery instructions provided by Lenovo. They'll be
located both in the manual that came with the laptop, and on Lenovo's
support web site.

And if I do reformat it somehow will the programs it
came with be on there?

Only those applications that were part of the original disk image
created at the factory will be restored when you restore the OS. All
others will need to be re-installed from the media from which you
originally installed them. Again, read your manual.

With HP if you make a set of backup recovery DVDs when start using the
system this set can be used instead of using the recovery partition itself
incase the HDD crashes. I found that the set of recovery DVDs give you a
lot of options when you rebuild the system so you do not have to install the
many sample or lite programs that are on the original installation itself .

Most computers that did not come with a cd have a recovery partition built
into it. If you push F11 when booting up, it should activate the system
recovery process which will wipe everything off of your computer and set it
just like it was when you bought it. Warning! If you have installed Office
