Want to put multiple docs into 1 window- possible in Word07?

I prefer the ways that Word 2003 worked, am fighting with V2007 to make it do
what I like. It always opens documents in separate windows, is there any way
to make it act like 2003 and put them in a single window? Thanks.
 
Both Word 2003 and Word 2007 have the same option to allow either way of
working.

In Word 2007, Office button > Word Options > Advanced (tab) > Display
(section) > Show all windows in Taskbar, uncheck it.
