I callend DELL today and we deisntalled SP2, and MM1 is now back. And my
computer is not running as well as it did with SP2. So I want to reinstall
SP2 and keep MM1.
I read the information at http://www.eicsoftware.com/PapaJohn/MM2/MM2.html
I think I have two versions of MM1 on my harddrive:
c:/windows/servicepackfiles/i386/moviemk which is 788KB (created September
2, 2004)
and
c:/Program Files/Movie Maker which is 836 KB (created September 2, 2004)
I am so confused and frustrated. All the movies and stills are of my two
children and I just don't want to fiddle with the program that I use to send
their antics to family around the world.
Do I have two copies of MM1? I would really appreciate receiving a
step-by-step advice on how to keep one version of MM1 "safe" when I
re-install SP2. Please.
