Want to delete Web Addresses

I am unable to delete the web addresses that keep showing
under the web address tool bar, when I enter an address
in the tool bar. I have tried deleting them individually
and also from the history, but no luck. Can anyone help?
 
you are refering to autocomplete...

[autocomplete] button
clear these boxes as desired......
[ ] web addresses
[ ] forms
[ ] user names and passwords on forms
[ok]
