Want to change some of my web pages URLs

Hi, I need a bit of advice as I'm thinking of changing some of my web pages URLs to something more appropriate to my site. The problem is that some of my pages are indexed by search engines and would lead to the error page of 'website not found'. Is there a way round this without having duplicate web pages.

You can do something called a 301 re-direct which should do the trick:

http://www.webconfs.com/how-to-redirect-a-webpage.php

Thanks for the reply. I have looked at the the site you recommended and it's spot on, exactly what I wanted. Will try it out later.
