Where can I get IE Zoomer. I found it months ago, but re-did the HD
and didn't save it.

Hi Jim,
Thanks for the link. It goes to zd net, but gets a page not found
error.

I am aware of the web accessory pgm, but when you zoom in with it, the
picture will pixilate. With IE Zoomer it will keep enlarging and keep
a nice interpolated picture. There is a great difference. But, thanks
anyway for your reply.

You're correct. But, it is available here for free.

Google is your friend:

pcmags is not your friend - they changed a while back, and if you want
this utility, it will cost you $20

You have to sign up with pcmag to allow downloads, at $20 per year :-(

Thanks - I have it now. One Q though - I am not a moralist, but just
for others info, is it still classed as freeware ?

If you already have it, then it is freeware - for your unrestricted
personal use.
Still written by pc mags and their license text says that no-one
should distribute it.

By ACF's PL standards, this makes it non-freeware. Sort of a distant cousin
of "CD-ware." Or just, "Pcmagware."
Wonder if the author of the above site knows this ?

Hard to guess whether that person is violating the redistribution
prohibition knowingly or unknowingly...

.. . .

As you said earlier in this thread, Alistair: "Pcmags is not our friend."
I'd hope that Pcmag would get swallowed by a better corporation; but even
in that scenario, I can't expect their progs to become full freeware. It's
a loss. Neil Rubenking, particularly, put out some valuable utilities.
