want bytes not packets

Hi folks,

How can I get the Local Area Connection Status window
to show me the number of Bytes sent and received instead
of the number of Packets sent and received?

Other computers I've used show the figure in bytes.

Is this a driver issue? I'm using the standard inbuilt
Windows drivers for my 3com 3C905B-TX.

Yes, thanks. But no simple way of changing the
system-tray connection-status-icon to show in
bytes rather than packets?

packets depends on which type is supported by the
network adapter being used for this shared Internet
connection."


So, most likely if I used genuine 3com drivers it
would be OK.
