I purchased vista home premium x86 at the begining of January, I went online
and ordered the x 64 bit version on 5th Feb and still haven't received it.
when I spoke to the UK reps for the product they said that I had paid for it
on the 5th of Feb but they were mystified why I havent received my copy. One
young lady..... trying her best said I'll contact the distribution centre,
she came back with the answer........... theres only one in the warehouse!

Well send me that one dammit!

as of this moment I am still without my copy

Sigh!

Another one gives us status on their copy of Vista. Oh boy, I am excited as
hell over this one.

I took my car in for an oil change but they told me I had to wait an hour
because someone was ahead of me in line. I couldn't believe it. I spoke to
the manager and he confirmed it.. Yes sir, you do have to wait. I just sat
there with my tongue hanging down to the floor. What is this world coming
to? Maybe I should take out my laptop with my brand-spanking new copy of
Vista and boot it up. By the time the hard drive light stops spinnin', I'll
be next and my car will get it's oil change.

Thanks for letting me share.

The less copies of vista on computers.. the better this world will be.
lets hope that is the last copy in the planet.

What's sad is people seem to get more upset that they might have to wait to
get a copy of the latest OS or video game, or wait to get a patch for a bug
in that OS or video game, than they do about how long people have to wait
for surgeries.

I ordered mine (64 bit home premium) on the 2nd Feb, I got an email on 5th
to say it was dispatched and it finally arrived (from Ireland) yesterday
(12th). So if you ordered yours on the 5th, you might expect it on Thursday.
On the other hand, the printable receipt does say to allow 28 days.

You could have changed the oil yourself, rather than wait an hour
for some gomer to do it. Just get a pan, some oil, and a plug wrench;
turn the plug, the oil runs out, replace the plug, and insert new oil.
Duh.

I am truly sorry that your life is based around this.

LOL. Maybe they were waiting for that one last copy to multiply. Or maybe
if they removed it and sent it to you they wouldn't know where to put the
new copies when they arrived. They were using it to bookmark the storage
spot.

It's a joke, son.

And then try to find a place which will accept that used oil in order
to get rid of it. Throw it out in the trash or dump it on the ground
and you will most likely be breaking the law. (At least in most
places)

That is the one reason why it is much easier and better to have a
"gomer" as you call it change the oil.

Yep that would be right. You'll have to become an American or a Canadian so
you can download it! :)

And the law, in every place I know of, requires that any place that
sells motor oil must accept and dispose of used motor oil.
