Wandering Desktop Icons

Since I installed SP3 onto win2003 Pro, well I have had "wandering desktop
Icons".
When I restart often the icons as a column have moved. The left hand set
which were up the lefthand side of the screen have jumped across to the 2nd
screen and the right column of icons have moved left about 30%(is sideways
left).
Now I have tried the various desktop settings, Auto, Align to grid, etc, all
without luck, these things just move of there own volition upon startup (Not
reboots).
Any ideas Please
Oh and Happy Christmas to all.
 
Or you can try a program called "desktop icons position saver". Though I am
not sure it will work on W2K3...
