I have installed a few Wanadoo USB DSL connects and the only way I can do it
is by using their install CD. When I do so I find they have modified IE so
that some of its features cannot be altered - notably the startup page, I
like blank, they want www.wanadoo.com. How do I get back to Vanilla IE?

Hi,
Go to http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm Scroll down to Various
Registry fixes. Download and run UnlockHomePage.reg

Also, to remove branding from IE (restore default logos, title bar and the
IE spinning logo thing)
Start> Run> type in or copy and paste:

Rundll32 Iedkcs32.dll, BrandCleanInstallStubs

Click OK.
Restart Internet Explorer

If Wanadoo restrictions or logos return, you may have to find and uncheck
the entry in MSCONFIG> Startup that's restoring them.

Thanks - Good News, I just did the BrandCleanInstallStubs and it fixed it
all. I still had a Wanadoo logo on the Toolbar but I just removed it. I'm
back to the fluttering flag and I have about:blank for startup. I even did a
restart to be sure and it looks good.

Thanks Again.
